Real Madrid won an important away victory over Real Sociedad in the fifth round of La Liga with a score of 2:0. Both goals were scored by the Madrid team from the penalty spot, while the hosts had several chances to change the course of the match, but they lacked precision.

In the first half, Sociedad actively pressed the visitors' defense. The shots of Luka Sučić and Sheraldo Becker were especially dangerous, but the goal frame saved Real from conceding a goal three times. At the same time, Kylian Mbappe and Antonio Rudiger were unable to beat Sociedad goalkeeper Alex Remiro.

The second half began with another shot by Sučić, which again hit the post. However, in the 58th minute, the Madrid team was awarded a penalty due to Sergio Gomez's handball. Vinicius Junior converted the penalty perfectly, opening the scoring.

In the 75th minute, Real Madrid were awarded another penalty, this time thanks to Mbappe's attacking activity. Kylian himself took the shot accurately and doubled his team's lead.

Despite the hosts' efforts, they were unable to score. Real Madrid collected 11 points and rose to second place in the standings, while Real Sociedad remains in 16th place, continuing their struggle at the bottom of the table.
