Review

The match of the fourth round of the Ukrainian Premier League between "Kryvbas" and "Ingulets" took place in difficult conditions for both players and fans. The heat in Kryvyi Rih at the time of the game was extraordinary — +35°C, which definitely affected the physical condition of the teams and the dynamics of the match. In addition, the Kryvyi Rih team had in mind the upcoming European Cup match against "Betis" in Spain, which also affected their approach to this game.

"Ingulets" started the meeting very actively and opened the scoring in the sixth minute. Oleksandr Pyatov received the ball on the left flank of the penalty area and, although he was not allowed to shoot, he managed to accurately hit the far nine. It was a powerful blow, and "Kryvbas" found itself in an unpleasant situation - conceding a goal at the very beginning of the match is always difficult, especially in such weather conditions.

However, Yuriy Vernydub's team was not going to give up and created many dangerous moments near the opponent's goal. The flanks of "Ingulets" could not cope with the pressure, and in the 40th minute this pressure did bring results. Lunyov's cross from the right edge of the penalty area ended with a spectacular heel strike by Evgeny Kozhushka, who equalized the score. It is also worth noting the fantastic performance of Ingulets goalkeeper Vladyslav Palamarchuk, who saved his team from an inevitable goal several times.

In the second half, "Ingulets" focused on defense, completely giving the initiative to "Kryvbas". The visitors withstood the intense pressure, and Palamarchuk continued to show excellent performance in goal. The game was very ragged, both teams played to the limit of their capabilities, but fatigue was already dominating the field.

At the end of the match, the coach of "Ingulets" Volodymyr Kobin could not stand the emotional strain and received a straight red card for his remarks, but this incident did not affect the result. Despite all efforts, "Kryvbas" could not press the opponent and win. As a result, the Vernydub team lost important points in the home game before the important European Cup match.

The match ended in a 1:1 draw, which was a difficult but well-deserved result for both teams. "Kryvbas" is preparing for an away match against "Betis" and a home confrontation with "Shakhtar", while "Ingulets" will travel to "Rukh" Lviv.
