In the fifth round of the 2024/25 Serie A, Verona and Torino will meet at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi. Both teams approach the match with different moods and results, which gives the meeting additional interest.

Verona, coached by Paolo Zanetti, has shown inconsistent results at the start of the season. After losing to second division team Cesena in the Italian Cup, the Gialloblu unexpectedly defeated Napoli with a score of 3:0 in the first round of Serie A. However, in the next match against Juventus, the team showed weakness and lost 0:3. Despite one win and one defeat in the subsequent games, Verona remains a team that is capable of scoring, which could be a key factor in the upcoming match against Torino. However, Verona have not been able to beat the Bulls at home since February 2018, and in their last five home games they have only drawn twice, losing three.

Torino, under Paolo Vanoli, have started the season impressively - unbeaten in four rounds and with eight points. The Turin team has already managed to draw with Milan (2:2) and win against Atalanta (2:1), which shows their fighting ability against serious opponents. Torino's confident play has allowed the team to take fifth place in the standings, and their form allows them to hope for a fight for European places. If they can continue in the same spirit, they can seriously claim high positions.
