Heidenheim
Frank Schmidt's team, despite losing several key players after a successful debut season, are showing excellent results at the start of the new championship. Heidenheim finished eighth last season, which allowed the club to qualify for the Conference League. This season, the "Reds" have started off well, winning all their matches in the German Cup and their first two Bundesliga games: 2:0 against St. Pauli and 4:0 against Augsburg.

Despite the defeat to Borussia in the last match (2:4), the team has shown good performance, scoring at least two goals in each match. At home, Heidenheim will be looking to continue their successful streak.

Freiburg
The team under new coach Julian Schuster has also started the season well. Schuster made his debut in a 4-0 win over Osnabrück in the DFB Cup and then won 3-1 against Stuttgart. However, Freiburg faced Bayern, where they lost 2-0, although this defeat was not a big surprise.

After the international break, the team has the opportunity to improve their game and restore their main players. In the last match against Bochum, Freiburg were able to turn the game around after a poor first half, with Junior Adamu becoming the key player with two goals. Freiburg will now be looking to win the away match.
