Review

On August 25, 2024, the second round match of the English Premier League took place, in which Chelsea won a confident victory over Wolverhampton with a score of 6:2. This match was a real goal extravaganza, remembered for its bright moments and outstanding individual performances.

The game started quickly: already in the 2nd minute, Chelsea opened the scoring thanks to a goal by Nicholas Jackson. Wolverhampton was able to respond in the 27th minute through the efforts of Matheus Cunha, equalizing the score. At the end of the first half, the teams exchanged more goals: Cole Palmer put Chelsea ahead, but Jorgen Strand Larsen scored for Wolves in the last seconds of the half, setting the score at 2:2.

In the second half, the game completely came under Chelsea's control. Noni Madueke completed a hat-trick in 14 minutes, scoring in the 49th, 58th and 63rd minutes. All three goals were the result of a well-coordinated partnership with Cole Palmer, who made three assists and also scored a goal in the first half.

Joao Felix put the finishing touches on the match, scoring the sixth goal in the 80th minute.
