Aston Villa: Unai Emery has organised his side well and they have returned from the international break with renewed vigour. Ollie Watkins has been in good form since the break and has already scored twice against Everton. The Champions League win over Young Boys will also give confidence. Watkins will be aiming to break Gabriel Agbonlahor's Villa Park goalscoring record in the home leg and with the opposition's defence weak, he has a good chance of doing so.

Wolverhampton: Gary O'Neill's side have been facing defensive problems since the departure of Max Kilman. Wolves are conceding a lot of goals, which is especially worrying given they have failed to keep a clean sheet for the last six months. The defence, made up of the aging Dawson and less experienced players, looks vulnerable. The team can create dangerous moments in attack, but instability in defense puts their chances of a successful result in doubt.

Given the current forms of the teams and the problems of Wolverhampton, Aston Villa looks like the favorite of the match, especially on the home field.
